Reason # 1 to go the NYC Worldwide Lyme Awareness Rally

NJ and other states' are involved in and participating, as in the past, in the NY Lyme Rally event on May 10, as in the past, so as to concentrate attendance. FABULOUS Speakers!

This is a part of an international series of rallies for Lyme disease going on in many countries.

DETAILS:

Friday May 10, from 12 noon to 4 PM, in Union Square, NYC

(this should be a fun event, the Union Square market will also be ongoing at the same time - fun to wander over there before and after!)

Lyme folks and friends are encouraged, from all from states close to NYC, to turn out in NY as we have done in the past.

Union Square, the site of the Rally, is readily available by public transportation.

NJ folks, together with those of other states, have a long history of participatory co-activism together, going back to the 90s, something that many folks new to the Lyme community may be unaware of, although many of you more experienced folks have been there with us various times.

Most people are aware of the many rallies and events held over the years on behalf of Lyme Activism in NJ and surrounding states and the adventure continues.

I do recognize and thank the many Lyme folks who have turned out in the past - hired buses - or come by trains, planes and automobiles (name of a movie!) to attend and Rally for the Lyme Causes over the years.

Now there is another such event on the near Horizon. So many speakers, physicians and others, to hear!

I look forward to seeing you all there, no matter what you have to do to get there (I may be crawling off that public bus, personally).
Details on Lyme Rally in NYC, for NY folks and those in surrounding states who will be attending, can be found at:

The full speaker list, including those speakers from NJ, and other surrounding states can be found at the site as well.

The list of doctors and other speakers from NJ, NY and CT is exciting!

So get those signs ready, check out the many ways to get to NYC, and make your plans now.

PS Chairs are not allowed to be brought, per police guidelines. It may be that, as in the past, bringing a Cane-Chair provides a relief on the journey. Some have found something similar to:
